Guest guest
Hi, Sunny Great question. I now wish I'd known two months ago what you are about to learn now. I'm in the 2 month slump right now. I'm not really on the supplements Andy recommends in his book yet, or at least not much (probiotics--just started, milk thistle, just started, cod liver oil and folic acid for many months now). Here's what I'm dealing with. These things were not noticeable until EXACTLY 2 months after having my 3 tiny amalgams removed (which I did Dec. 21, '07). Depression (crying over things that I'm anxious about, unable to find much joy in my delightful 2 year old daughter, I just want to be left alone by everyone). Advanced Adrenal Fatigue. You must get " Adrenal Fatigue, " by Dr. and read it to prepare, in case this hits you like it hit me. Andy's book gives a good description of what I'm experiencing with symptoms. For me, the major symptoms are inability to bounce back with energy once I " use it all up " on one taxing activity for the day, time pressure or relationship demands in the spur of the moment causing me to be " unable to cope, " and get very verbally irritable and sassy and upset, losing way more weight than is healthy for me, and plus, very very short menstrual cycles, due to a complete lack of the appropriate hormones. Those are just a few of the many areas it's affecting. This adrenal fatigue is causing most of my distress currently, and I'm trying to find a way to get it manageable before chelation, or else I know the chelation process will make it worse. Major forgetfullness in short term memory. This is getting embarassing. I have a wonderfully understanding husband, so that helps. Confusion and even less to express myself clearly than before. I can't think about anything else but one thing I'm getting " fixated " on mentally, and my husband gets tired of hearing about it 24/7. All these things are new and started showing up 2 months after my fillings came out. They're hitting me with a vengance. I can't wait to start chelation, but I've gotta check under my crowns and inlays, first. Get ready! > > Hello All, I just got my four amlagams out in two sittings; but,I am > so nervous.I remember reading in the group that after two months you > will feel really bad; however, if it is correct what should I do then > or maybe now???? > > Thanks in advance!!! > Sunny >
Guest guest
Hi sunny, are those all your amalgams? I know everyone is different and I had 12 amalgams removed in 4 sitting, 3 months apart. I kept notes and I was sick for three months. Initially in the first week, symptoms that had been pretty dormant (sp?) surged - relux, neuropathy. After the first week I got a bit dull, depressed. then felt better until week 7-10. They were tough and the I got better and felt better than I had before my removal - only to do it all over again. This pattern for me was very consistent 4x. Hang in there- I am now finished round 12 and I am so much better - still a long way to go! but wow what a difference. The highs and lows are as severe. i don't dread waking up. I don't dread being with my kids. There are ups and downs. Take one day at a time and know it will get better Colette
Guest guest
Well, I didn't have any problems after amalgam removal, not even at the 3-6 month mark. So I don't think it necessarily is bad. Everyone is different, and you don't know how it will be for you. I would recommend that you get on the supplements ASAP. If you have any indication of adrenal/thyroid problems, get support in place for them. Then, as soon as you think you are ready, start on the DMSA. You only need to wait 4 days before starting on the DMSA. And I think I read in AI that the dump period is usually easier if you start DMSA before it starts. Look for TK's recommendations on starting chelation. I didn't know any better so I followed some fool's recommendation of a chelation protocol using cilantro and chlorella... big mistake. Even after that I didn't know to do anything for my adrenals. I just kept wearing myself out. So, whatever you do, don't do nothing. Nothing just doesn't work. > > Hello All, I just got my four amlagams out in two sittings; but,I am > so nervous.I remember reading in the group that after two months you > will feel really bad; however, if it is correct what should I do then > or maybe now???? > > Thanks in advance!!! > Sunny >

Guest guest
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/frequent-dose-chelation/message/23697;_ylc=X3oDMT\ JzMTNjODg1BF9TAzk3MzU5NzE1BGdycElkAzExMzM1NzU3BGdycHNwSWQDMTcwNTA2MDgxNARtc2dJZA\ MyMzY5NwRzZWMDZG1zZwRzbGsDdm1zZwRzdGltZQMxMjA1Mzc2NTI2> There are no worries with DMSA, and none to speak of with very low doses of DMSA, so I'm not sure what you are referring to. You can wait 3 months if you want and then start with the ALA. The brain will not detox itself. The half life of mercury up there is 25 years. And when you have disordered mineral transport, even the body compartment is losing its capacity to detox. Dave. After reading possible side effects of DMSA amd DMPS I am really having second thoughts; however , for ALA I have to wait 3 months. My question is why it is so important to chelate using any of this???? Is my body not going to heal by itself??? Since I have removed the major load from the system. Thanks in advance!!!
