Hi

Thanks for replying. Yes I know what you mean about trying things

that we don't know enough about and we do have to be careful with

herbs because not enough research has been done with regard to their

interaction with heavy metals. I did email Andy too and he reckoned

that there wouldn't be a risk presumably because they are unlikely to

be true chelators. I think I'll continue with them for now plus it

doesnt feel I am getting any other kind of redistribution effect from

them that I usually get when chelating, so hopefully they aren't

doing me any harm! Did you know that fibrin also hides colonies of

bacteria eg borrelia/lyme? Not wanting to worry you unnecessarily

but I wonder if its possible that you felt worse after taking the

Nattokinase because you went through a herx? Do you know if you have

any infections like lyme? I have lyme myself and take Serrapeptase

which is similar to Nattokinase although I havent noticed any

negative effects from it but I know that other people with lyme have

experienced herxes when taking systemic enzymes.

All the best,

Anne

This is absolutely true. You have to be very careful where your herbs

come from. We've exported all of our manufacturing to China, where

there are _no_ environmental controls - which is one reason why it's

cheaper to manufacture there. I read just recently that the situation

with pollution in China is getting so bad that there is getting to be

serious, politically destabilizing, unrest - as in, riots.

Dave.

I was seeing an acupuncturist back in Aug and Sept, and her herbs made

me start getting

forgetful. My tendency to have " butter fingers, " dropping things out of

my hands for totally

no reason at all, was highly exacerbated under her herbs. I recognized

that these were

symptoms of my mercury poisoning. I found an allopathic MC article

online that said to

beware of Chinese herbs, as they can contain mercury and other heavy

metals, esp. if

they're from China.

At the time, I stopped them because I thought they were adding to my

mercury burden,

hence the symptoms, but perhaps they were causing redistribution, like

you suggested.

Who knows. I just know I don't have those issues now that I'm off them.
