Guest guest
I haven’t seen the Piano, but have intended to rent it for years. I also haven’t seen Silence of the Lambs, more than 5 minutes of any Alien movie, Gladiator, Saving Private , etc etc. I did see Pulp Fiction on a date and almost fainted during the needle-in-heart scene. Didn’t think it was all that great - mostly a festival of blood and violence - and didn’t date that guy for much longer after that - not only because he took me to see that movie and promised it wasn’t all that bad. I am very much a wimp and far too sensitive to watch that sort of thing. >Conversely, to cheer me up cos I've gone goose pimply, I >love that one >where the bloke turns his corn field into a baseball pitch, >what is that called? Field of Dreams. Loved it! Might be issues to do with my own father that made it even more touching for me, but I like both baseball and mystical stuff. IMHO, it’s the only movie with Costner that wasn’t crap. (Ducking my head down just in case anyone wants to sigh about his bare naked behind in Robin Hood, my nomination for worst pseudo-British accent EVER, and that includes Dick van Dyke in Poppins. And don’t forget I’m an American and not all that discriminating about pseudo-British accents ) Phyllis __________________________________________________
