Guest guest
Meniere's disease, which involves tinnitus has been documented to have disappeared after amalgam removal. Google paul Engel. Manganese is thought to cause tinnitus when deficient. Guest guest
The only suggestion, as with any mercury poisoning symptom (and this is one) is to take a lot of antioxidants spread throughout the day. Reason being that the symptom is the effect of mercury moving around the body and creating oxidative damage, so the anti-oxidants help you deal with some of that damage. Perhaps you'll be encouraged to know that my tinnitus slowly went away over the period of my 2.5 years chelating. Oh, and if it gets and worse and there are any vertigo issues that come up, you can try vinpocetine. Guest guest
I have Tinnitus and I believe in the link between the two. I was just talking about this recently. The rushing though... describe this sound please. My ringing sounds like Christmas bells with an endless decay overlapping/looping. High octave and in C. Are you telling me you have Tinnitus in the low/mid frequencies? Because thats pretty interesting and I don't hear that much. People think because I am a sound guy I got my Tinnitus from audio. When actually I am rarely exposed to loud music and I mix quieter than most people watch/listen TV.

My tinnitius sounds like this……… I am standing 20 feet away from a rushing swirling river. That noise is constant. A constant rushing sound like holding a seashell to my ear. I have a…… a whining sound too…I have no idea what key it is….like you used to get at night on the TV when there was nothing on….the score card and that whining droning on & on & on. Same pitch, quite a high pitch. Then I have da bells, da bells. I don't have a hump yet like Quasimodo yet but it sounds like someone has little silver bells and they tinkled in my ears every now and then. it's a faint, far off sound. I am used to da bells now but its still a little disconcerting when I look up to see where the sound came from. This is all new to me, I supposing thinking about it I have always had a mild ringing sound in my head, but now, after 12 rounds its loud and there is no escape from it. Compared to some of the other crap I've had to put up with….this is a most minor symptom. Thanks for all yr replies. I am supplementing Cutler style so already talking all of the supplements suggested. Sunshine
Guest guest
Hi Corvulus the Mighty! Could you give me a link? I googled Engel, but didn't come across anything that looked like it might say anything about Maniere's. I've got a friend who's stuggling with it now, so I want to see if I can pass on some hope and encouragement to him. Thanks in advance - Dave.
