Guest guest
I keep seeing people post about this. Can someone explain who or what it is? Is it in Boston? Are there good doctors in Boston? I just started with the pulmo guy I'm seeing. But, I'd like to know as much as possible. I feel like the only way yo fight this is to stay as informed as I can. Guest guest
Hi Nan, There are some great resources in Boston! I am one of the folks that has been hooked up with the ILD Center at Beth Israel. They in turn hooked me up with the Lung Transplant Program at Brigham and Women's Hospital. Both places are excellent and I would highly recommend either one of them. I travel down to Boston from NH to see them. If you visit the ILD Center web page you will find information about a symposium for patients and their families on May 2nd. You can check it out at www.bidmc.org/ild Perhaps we will see you there - we attended last year's and found it very helpful, so will be there again this year.
