Ya, this is confusing. My developing understanding is that even with

disordered mineral transport (DOM), certain signals still come through.

For example, lead is not affected by DOM and if you have DOM with any of

Aluminum, Antimony, Arsenic and/or Tin high, then they are probably in

fact high, as Mercury tends to cause their accumulation. (If they are

low, then they may be in reality high, ie in the body.) Also, the

adrenal stress signal comes through. Finally, if DOM is from an " all

high " configuration, then high toxic levels are to be discounted. If it

is from an " all low " configuration, then low levels may be looked at

with suspicion, but high levels may be more of a reflection of reality.

My _impression_ is that the copper signal may be similar, in that high

copper is an actual reflection of what is going on in the body, even in

the presence of DOM - but that is just an impression by trying to

discern how Andy appears to be reasoning, rather than an explicit

statement. So, it needs to be checked on. Could someone do that? Any

more information that could help clearly articulate this issue would be

very helpful.

Dave.

I'm confused on this point; if a test meets the counting rules then

that means that all the numbers for both the toxic and essential

elements mean nothing? How, then, would one know if one actually had a

copper problem and not to chelate with ALA?

Thanks,
