Hey folks,

Is there a way to test for B12 deficiencies. If you test within norm,

can you still be deficient and finally, if you take B12 and your body

does not need it - are there any side effects?

Thanks

I beleive you can get your B12 checked with a blood test through your

doctor. No it is not harmful to take it if your not deficient, in

sensible doses. Even if you test normal, it is likely you need it

anyway. B vites are water soluble and not stored by the body..so you

need them daily through food, and sometimes that's not enough and you

need supplements. Toxic people usually require a lot more vitamins and

minerals than non toxic because our bodies either burn them up faster

trying to deal with the damage from the toxins, or don't absorb them

well due to poor digestion, or cannot use them efficiently because of

metals interfering with them in the body. So we need to take more in

order to get them to work.

so taking some B12 is not a bad idea
