I hope this is okay to share. Dr. Sharp at Plum Spring Clinic

(www.plumspring.com) in Chapel Hill, NC has agreed to supervise my

oral chelation. He said he's not the most experienced doctor in the

area for heavy metal detox, but he was a lot cheaper to see than the

other one (who's website seemed to emphasize IV chelation).

I told him about Andy Cutler's protocol. I don't think he's had anyone

use it but he thought it sounded reasonable to try. He recommended I

have a 6 hour urine test to check for heavy metals every 6 weeks to

see if it's working. He also recommended regular mineral level testing.

TK--- not necessary or informative - just more money for him.

He also recommended regular mineral level testing.

TK-- also not necessary or informative unless something is severely

off - do hair testing on your own

Now this is a remarkable guy. These people are usually so terrified

that they won't do a damn thing that falls outside of the limited list

of things that they see their colleagues doing. This kind of

self-confidence is very unusual - he may be quite a find.

Of course, as a doctor he will want to be able to check things somehow.

Try to inform him of the fact that urine testing provides no

information, and that concerns about stripping minerals is not necessary

for chelators other than EDTA.

Please let us know how it goes.

Dave.
