i'm still up, but, not for much longer, spent a few hrs. at the moose earlier, been checking out the web, enjoying a glass of wine and just relaxing enough to get some sleep.

no idea what it is you have, have you been around any body with aftershave or perfume?

Okay, I have been doing nothing all day except had my esophogeogram. Why can't I have something that's easy to spell? Anyway the rest of the day was computer games and reading then a trip over to visit Beverley Joy and she certainly is a joy. I haven't eaten anything different than what I always eat, have done NOTHING different but I am covered with large itchy red bumps especially on my arms, chest, face and legs. No new meds so what the heck is happening to me? I am miserable and my feet and hands are swollen. My face itches like crazy. Anyone have a clue? I do not have seasonal allergies of any kind. I am hesitant to ignore it but do not want another ER visit. They look a lot like little blisters and it is getting worse by the hour. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

No and no. Nothing and it's getting worse. Now it's in my scalp, neck, underarms and even my ears. I am itching like crazy. Guess I will run get some benadryl and see if that helps. I hate sudden things that pop up for no reason and just get worse. I swear I just have a weird body. Right now I can not even stand to have a shirt on because it increases the itchiness and the bottoms of my feet itch. I am searching WebMD but I suppose if it doesn't get better by morning or it gets much worse I am off to the doc.

Mystery all solved. Hubby figured it out last night. This happened once before and it was after a visit to Bev's house. There must be a weed, flower, tree or something in the air up there that my skin doesn't like. With the warmer weather, windows down, shorts and short sleeve shirt I was open to exposure. I took some Benedryl last night and went right to sleep. Today everything is back to as normal as my life ever gets. Oh well, another DUH moment for me.

Could it be shingles? Recently my doctor advised I be vaccinated for shingles

as it occurs typically after the age of 50 (I am now 60). She said it can be

rather uncomfortable. Have a doctor look at it. They didn't give you anything

to drink for the esophogram or whatever it was that you had done. You would

think they could come up with simpler terms for these tests that are easier to

spell!!

Take care, keep in touch...

Sunny.... what is the reason you are not calling your doc?????

If it's getting worse, go to ER. It SOUNDS like an allergic reaction to something..... go find out! Or at the very least call your doc....

If it's getting worse, go to ER. It SOUNDS like an allergic reaction to something..... go find out! Or at the very least call your doc....

MamaSher; 70, IPF 3-06, OR. NasturtiumsDon't fret about tomorrow, God is already there!

anybody still awake out there?

Sunny... glad you figured this out. An allergic reaction can drive a person crazy...

Have a good day.

glad to hear it's all cleared up. how far is it to bev's? and if i may make a suggestion? the next time you visit, take a shower and wash your clothes as soon as you get home. this may help.

i've been cutting back some bushes around my trailer and noticed a red rash on my arms and my face got red, i washed my face and arms but the smell stayed with me and i get SOB so i took a shower and washed my clothes and before long it all cleared up, so i ended up having to pay someone else to finish the trimming.

I have known several older people who had shingles. It is not pretty, extremely painful, and can last several weeks, or in the case of my

former boss in New York, nearly three months.

I got the vaccination earlier this year or late last year. It was painless with no problems afterward. I recommend it to all. We have enough

problems without adding shingles. Jack79/IPF - UIP/dx06/05 Maine

Sunny -Could it be shingles? Recently my doctor advised I be vaccinated for shingles as it occurs typically after the age of 50 (I am now 60). She said it can be rather uncomfortable. So sorry to hear about your rash, they suck! Beverley only lives about 30-40 minutes away. My wonderful husband has the gift of works from the Lord so he loves helping people. He is also the most talented mechanic/handyman I have ever known. He is shop foreman for a concrete cutting company and has to keep big Isuzu trucks, hydraulic stuff, engines and just about everything under the sun running at peak. He works from 5am (leaves home at 4am) and gets home about 5pm-6pm then he fixes or tunes up cars for people who can't afford a mechanic. He is the most amazing man. Plus since I have seizures I can't cook so he does all the cooking, cleaning, and makes me feel like a princess and the sexiest woman alive. We have been married almost 10 years and we are still honeymooning. In all that time I have only seem him really angry once and it was at someone who was tormenting me during the day while he was at work. We do yard work together and anything I want (that we can afford and some we can't) he will try his hardest to get and usually succeeds. He hated cats but at one time we had four. That's love! And, sorry this is so long, but Yellowstone was on my bucket list so he took me last summer. About 30 people including me were standing on the edge of the road looking down a 30 foot steep embankment at a large grizzly bear. Everything was great until I turned around and said take my picture. My knee braces caused me to lose my footing and I went down that embankment straight for the bear. I was too scared to even scream. My amazing husband beat me to the bottom and put himself between me and the bear while the onlookers chained hands and pulled me up. When I look down he is still down there looking for my LA Olympics Binoculars - found them too. Now we are racing to an ER because I am cut up bad from the fall. Suddenly he whips the van over, jumps out with the camera and takes a picture of an elk, jumps back in and drives like a maniac to the ER. I was stunned. "You will put yourself between a bear and me but you stop on the way to the ER to take a picture of an elk!" "Well honey, you just don't see a rack like that very often." Obviously the man is a nut but so am I. He won my heart when he laughed at all my stupid jokes. He is a big man with a teddy bear heart. Guess you can tell I still am so in love with the big lunk. Anyway enough, I could tell super hero stories about the man for days. Next time I go to Bev's I am wearing long sleeves and slacks rather than a tank and shorts and your suggestion of a shower immediately will be implemented. I don't think it's something at her house but rather something blooming that I've never been around. I've been to Bev's and not rashed up so who knows. Thanks for asking though.

i've been cutting back some bushes around my trailer and noticed a red rash on my arms and my face got red, i washed my face and arms but the smell stayed with me and i get SOB so i took a shower and washed my clothes and before long it all cleared up, so i ended up having to pay someone else to finish the trimming.

Okay, I have been doing nothing all day except had my esophogeogram..

Hey Sweetie, anything is worth going through to see your smiling lovely face and hear your voice. I don't actually think it's something inside because I didn't start itching until after we went outside then came back in. I think maybe a bush of something. I have been to your house so many times and only twice did I rash. One of those times was when Rich mowed your yard and I was back there too for a bit. Nothing to worry about because nothing will stop Rich and I from visiting except if you ask us too. By the way, Rich wants to have you and a friend (you know who) over for a BBQ. We both really enjoy talking to the two of you. So, let's start batting around weekends and see what works best for all. Love you girl!

Sunny, I'm sorry that you are allergic to something around here. I think that I'm allergic to the whole area. I just want to sell and go somewhere that better suits me. Beverley Joy, 71, IPF 1-09, Sjogren's, Fibromyalgia, pre diabetes, Idaho
