Guest guest
Had a visit from a policeman last night, investigating a murder that happened round the corner from my house about a month ago. They were visiting all the houses in our road and one other and profiling everyone in the house, asking questions about the night in question and whether you knew the victim. Although I'm all for helping out, I was a bit miffed that all my personal details were going to get fed into some giant police computer for posterity. Apparently it is so that if someone says they saw a woman in her thirties, 5'7 " with short dark hair doing XYZ/driving a red car/car with an R in the number plate etc etc, they can feed in the criteria and come up with me and a few others (hopefully). Still if they catch whoever did it (and it appears they're pretty sure who did it, they just can't prove it) then it must be for the greater good.
