Guest guest
Hi, everyone. As you know, my husband had his colon surgery already to remove the tumor. His chemo/radiation starts next Monday. Today my husband says that his immune system is weak and he should get a flu shot. I am astonished! In the fall of 1998 he had some kind of allergy shot from his ENT doctor. The doctor then prescribed some type of medicine and my husband drove to the pharmacy. While waiting for his prescription, a woman asked him if he wanted his flu shot. He said yes, and she gave him the flu shot. You can imagine that taking two shots on the same day made him sick. He was bedridden for several days and almost died. It was too horrible to describe to you. Should I be worried that my husband wants to get another flu shot? Would he react in a similar way as that time? I am already worried about the chemo/radiation, and now he is giving me something else to worry about. I am getting crazy here. Somebody just shoot me. heh ~Deb from Kansas
Guest guest
Narice, good idea. I should get the flu shot so he won't get it from me. Lydia, he is going to ask his doctor next week when he sees him. ~Deb from Kansas flipper759@... wrote: Whether or not he can/should I don't know but you should so he won't catch it I am if it is available Narice In a message dated 10/3/2005 6:30:10 PM Eastern Standard Time, lydia.miszkiewicz@... writes: ---------- Initial Header ----------- Hi Deb, I really don't think it's a good idea, but your doct. should know the answer. Guest guest
Hi, Ingrid. I think his doctor will say no, no flu shot. He is going to wait for the doc to decide. Please pray his chemo/radiation goes well. Thank you everyone, for your prayers. ~Deb from Kansas Ingrid Lowe lowenco@...> wrote: Deb, It is too close to the chemo.
