Guest guest
Hi Robin and everyone, I also wanted to mention briefly my hypothesis about progesterone and estrogen (including pyhto-estrogens). Being a man I do not experience the cyclical swings of these hormones. However it is widely accepted that these hormones compete with Hg at binding or receptor sites in the body. Red Clover, mentioned by mercurybeater is a well know and potent source of phyto-estrogens. I know from my wife's personal experience that blending herbal and natural sources of estrogen and progesterone can powerful influence a woman's health for the positive. What if a woman's natural cycle (monthly dips in estrogen levels for example) presents a " less competitive enviroment " for that aggressive hormone mimic HG? Another potent source of phyto-estrogens.....SOY. I have not eaten red meat, pork, lamb, commercial poultry etc... in 32 years. Needless to say I have consumed lots of SOY! But I sensed that it was causing me some health problems and an allergy test recently confirmed that I had immune reactivity to SOY. So in November I began a gradual elimination diet. Well my sinuses really improved! No more persistent post nasal drip - gone! But about a month or so into the elimination diet my aggressive, depressive, anxiousness that I associate directly with elevated HG levels in brain really ramped up alot! With chelation it is again much better but slightly worse between rounds. I am going to try red clover tea beginning after work and before bed at the end of this round. I believe phyto-estrogens can be protective to a degree but again this is only a hypothesis. Red clover tea is pretty benign stuff. Worth a shot I think. ANDY? Care to comment?
