I don't like it and don't want it.As to fearing dying more than death or one stage more than another, Iread what Lou rights and imagine myself with , two catsinstead of a dog, morphine, as a companion in the evening. For me, thinking ahead, planning it out in my mind, thinking that eventhe worse isn't so awful, all helps me. I have seen many here furtheralong than I am and seen how they dealt with it and I have suchincredible mentors from them. But, the big thing is that I don't call it dying.....I think of beingdead as a single instantaneous moment, but every second until then I'malive. I'm closer to death each day, but everyone is. But, I'm living. And, so much of what I've learned here is how to live with the disease.I live differently today than I did yesterday and will live differentlytomorrow. But, its all life and I'll make each day as good as I can.I'll have bad days, but then I'll just try to rally the next.I enjoy knowing people from all around the world too and each of youbring me a different perspective. So, I'm happy for you Phillie fanswhen they win and so happy when you guys had the Pennsylvania or generalarea get together.>>> From: lbsmith789@sbcgloba l.net>> Subject: Hi all - welcome Ray and other news> To: Breathe-Support@ yahoogroups. com> Date: Tuesday, March 10, 2009, 10:02 PM>>>>> Welcome to the Air family Ray. Guest guest
Kathleen, You git a rope in order to round up rattlesnakes. Heck ain't you never seen a round up on tv???? LOL. Actually it is an annual harvest of ol' mister no shoulders. The ultimate result being the collection of venom to be used in the medical field in order to treat snake bite victims. They are also using the venom for potential medical treatments. Guest guest
After watching three people I love die, I think I will avoid doctors and tests. It is not like they can do anything.. I don't need to know the progression. I am not going to spend my life in Doctor's offices and hospitals. Keep me out of pain, and when I need oxygen I am breaking a 22 year sobriety with Makers Mark or Knob Creek bourban. . I feel your pain over your father. Twenty years later I still miss my mother. My poor father has lost two sons in two years, and now me. Now that man has courage. I do so love and respect him. I also wake at night with night fevers, and I understand cranky. Rest assured we all support you and your family as you find your way. Loss of any kind is always terribly hard. I lost my dad 2 years ago and still find myself talking to him, thinking I need to call him and tell him some trivial thing. I know he is watching out for me and so will the people you love, watch out for you. God bless..What we go through is different every day, depending on where we are. Tomorrow is tomorrow. Nobody has all the answers but there is love here. I can recite almost word for word what my VATS showed, looked up all the big words, asked lots of questions, and still have to deal with it as it comes. I once asked my doctor about something that was going on. I told him I was trying to figure out what normal is now. He told me there is absolutely nothing normal about this disease. Kind of sums it up.BTW - I think I even posted a picture of my favorite dancing shoes in photos at one time. I gave them away a couple of months ago to a lovely young girl who will make them sparkle with life.I bounce in and out, mostly at night, on occasion. I tend to be full of nonsense, except when I'm cranky. Pax. S, Lubbock, TXNSIP w/PF 12/2006 et al> > > >> > > > S.... wonderful good news.
