Sounds a bit dodgy to me. We keep tropical fish, so dont know much about

goldfish. The best thing you can do (and I do it all the time as have a

multitude of animals), is to call your local vet and just ask there opinion.

Dont let them fob you off by getting you to bring the fish in. If they are

any good they will get a vet to call you back and advise you.

I hadn't thought of that. By coincidence, we were back in the pet

shop where we bought them from today. I was amazed at how small the

goldfish on sale were. Ours must have been this size too, so seem to

have grown quite a bit in a short time.
