Guest guest
Hi- I'm new here and have been lurking for about a week. I have one tiny amalgam left to have removed, so I'm basically in a learning mode until I can start chelation. Also, I have Lyme and have been on salt/C for a while. My question is this: I have a DDI hair test from May 2004 which shows, according to Andy's method of evaluation, mercury toxicity, but it also shows almost in-the-red low copper (and zinc exactly in the middle). I also had a hair test from an unknown lab in the 1990s which also showed low copper. Would it just show low because of generally disordered mineral metabolism (all but 5 were low), or could I assume that copper is, in fact low? And if so, should I take supplemental copper? Should I take lots of zinc even though it opposes copper? Any clarity on this would be greatly appreciated (I'm gearing up for chelation - hopefully I'll be able to have this last amalgam removed soon). Thanks so much, Dana B
