Guest guest
Val, I looked a bit and started freaking out too. Sheesh. I am sure you would have given both the doctors today exactly what happened, so I agree they would have looked into it if it seemed like a possibility at all. High 70's sounds good. Assuming that is where you should be normally. One thing...if you panic and it starts going up, the thing I found helped the most, was stopping everything, and laying with my feet elevated. Of coarse deep breathing and meditation type thoughts. I also seriously visualized my heart and saw a full picture of it, and focus on slowing it done, and watching it become calm. Then allowed my full body to feel the warm comfort of the increasing slowing. You can feel it slowly on each sq inch of skin. Repeat as often as needed. Do not allow any thing in your mind that will cause worry. If you feel anxiety and worry start...say STOP...out loud if needed...to make it stop...then focus on a calm or interesting thought pattern. Once the heart was slowed each time, I consciously started a fun or calm activity, and this helped until I let my mind go back to worry. I need more practice, but it does work...any lowering is good. -Pam L-
Guest guest
Hi Jody, Thanks for writing in. I am taking my BB's now. I called my GP this morning for doasge reccomedations. It's been quite scary. I also asked the gal on the phone about the TIA possibility, when the doc calls me back later I will know more. I guess I am just wondering if I should have an MRI anyhow...just to double check. I sent out a post this morning to update on the TIA thing, but I messed it up and it went out without a subject. I am sooo tired! Making a lot of mistakes, and feeling so not like myself. But I think with the prayers, the support and power to advicate for myself, I'll get through this. Again, I AM taking the BB's, and I will keep you all posted. Val
