Guest guest
Hi, Pat. I lived on the north end of Wichita when I was little. We moved to Valley Center to get away from the noise of the train tracks at 21st and Broadway area. haha So where are you living now? Still in Kansas? Thanks for the tips on slicing and freezing the bananas. Sounds like a cool snack on a hot summer day. ~Deb from Kansas Pat Crain imasewr@...> wrote: I slice bananas, place them on a cookie sheet, plate, or even waxed paper, freeze them and pop them in my mouth, whenever. Guest guest
I live in Florida now, near Tampa. Before that I lived in Las Vegas for 27 years. I have an Aunt that lives on Park St. in Valley Center right now and my Uncle (not related to the aunt) lives on Birch St. Well, actually most all of my relatives still live in Wichita or around there. Guest guest
Frozen banana snacks are good all the time. I buy the organic bananas and always bring them home, skin them, cut them up and pop them in a freezer bag. Good anytime and for a very long time. Guest guest
Oh, Pat. I really like the sunshine of Florida, but it seems the tornadoes of Kansas are less frequent than the hurricanes down south. I guess everyone gets used to the place they live, and it's kind of scary to move someplace else. Well you have a good week. Take care, Deb Pat Crain imasewr@...> wrote: I live in Florida now, near Tampa. Before that I lived in Las Vegas for 27 years. Guest guest
Thanks for the message . Banana nut bread sounds good. I haven't made that in ages. I'm going to get some bananas and freeze them when they are really fresh, so maybe they won't be mushy. I have bought the banana chips that are dehydrated, but I don't really enjoy them like fresh bananas. But I guess if someone had to eat that until they felt better, mushy bananas must be tolerated. ~Deb from Kansas Dawson mystc1celt@...> wrote: Deb, I froze some bananas once and they turned completely black and when they were thawed, they were total mush. I guess it would be great for something like banana nut bread, but I sure didn't want to just eat them. However, maybe if you just scooped them into a dish and ate them with a spoon?? flytodeb flytodeb@...> wrote: Isn't that banana, rice, applesauce, toast?
