When it comes to those things i don't think any of us are patient. I

don't think most doctors really grasp how difficult the periods of

waiting are.

As to a son, I am not a parent and can't fully imagine what its like to

struggle and fear for your son. But, I do know you are a loving mom and

all any parents can do is their best. There is no magic formula to

parenting at any age. All one can do is follow their own heart and

instinct.

While we think we'll probably die sooner than we would have, we sure do

focus more on living, or at least I have. I sure wish I'd lived this way

all my life. It's truly the way everyone should try to live in not

putting things that are important to them off and enjoying each day as

best they can.

Cirque du Soleil

Yes, I have seen several of their shows. I'm sure many of them could do

it. Some incredible performers. Honestly, looking at some of the moves

of gymnasts and performers in shows like Cirque, my back hurts just

watching them bend so far over.

Kathleen - Love, laughter and dancing. Rest assured we all support you and your

family as you find your way. Loss of any kind is always terribly hard. I lost

my dad 2 years ago and still find myself talking to him, thinking I need to call

him and tell him some trivial thing. I know he is watching out for me and so

will the people you love, watch out for you. God bless.

What we go through is different every day, depending on where we are. Tomorrow

is tomorrow. Nobody has all the answers but there is love here. I can recite

almost word for word what my VATS showed, looked up all the big words, asked

lots of questions, and still have to deal with it as it comes. I once asked my

doctor about something that was going on. I told him I was trying to figure out

what normal is now. He told me there is absolutely nothing normal about this

disease. Kind of sums it up.

BTW - I think I even posted a picture of my favorite dancing shoes in photos at

one time. I gave them away a couple of months ago to a lovely young girl who

will make them sparkle with life.

I bounce in and out, mostly at night, on occasion. I tend to be full of

nonsense, except when I'm cranky. Pax.

So lets see if I have this....we mess with snakes and get bitten in

order to get the venom to help us from just getting bitten?

I think I'll just stay far far away from snakes and therefore not risk

it...obviously I'm not a boy of the west.
