adrenal *cortex* extract, not a glandular product. The ones I know that he

approves of is Thorne Adrenal Cortex Extract which has 50mg per capsule, and we

recently discussed that he approves of Nutricology Adrenal Cortex Extract with

250mg per capsule (but make sure you don't confuse it with their glandular

product that has 300mg per capsule, you want the 250mg one).----------Jackie

I just ordered the " glandular " type (sigh) now to add to my cupboard

of mistakes. What would be the negatives for taking the glandular or

the differences between the two? By the way, even though I have upped

my dosage of HC (to 20mg), I'm still not having any significant

relief of symptoms.

I believe Health Canada changed its rules around the middle of 2007 to

allow adrenal glandular nutritional supplements as long as sex

hormones are not present. I havent had any problems with getting them

before or since but I do worry about every shipment of supplements

that crosses the border.

Yes, my house looks like a pharmacy.

When I took a glandular product I got really really anxious. It only lasted for

a day though,

and some people don't have that happen, so you may want to try it.

About 2 weeks now - although I miss a dose occasionally. I thought

that HC was suppose to act immediately while other meds need a

cummulative effect, which is why I was concerned. Thanks for your

response.
