I still have a whole jar of that stuff. Right now, I am drinking lots of water and taking milk thistle and an immune booster. Trying to eat, but just cannot stomache food right now. I also am chewing gum as it helps that chemo taste in my mouth. The tingles are not as bad, but I feel like I have a cotton ball in my throught, right on the gag reflex. Guest guest
I didn't really start smelling the chemo bad until round 5. I told a friend that I was sick this weekend just thinking about going back. Today was not fun, mostly from the smell and carrying this pack is not helping. I am going to have to pull the line out of the pack, make it really long so I can tuck it under the covers to avoid the smell tonight!! I have a whole bottle of the wobe' too. Right after I bought it a nutritionist told me that Virastop was better, I thnk because it had more plant enzymes in it. I didn't have the energy to research but the bottle has www.enzymedica.com if you want to look it up. I read the brochure, the company concentrates on enzyme stuff. I take that now with your transfer factor. Guest guest
I too used to hate the smell of chemo. Could also smell it for several days afterwards on my body. I used to shower with all kinds of good smelling shower gels trying to get the smell off of me. I could swear the chemo smell was coming out of my pores. Oh, how I hated the chemo smell. Just think of it this way. Because of that chemo we are here to smell. And enjoy the different scents. It will get better. I promise. Take care of yourself.
