There's a Speedo factory shop here in Nottingham and I had planned to

get a new swimsuit from there but picked one up in Asda the other day as

a) I was there and they had them and B) I don't know what the Speedo

shop's opening hours are.

I didn't swim much when I was pg so never had a mat cossie. I had one

from last year which managed very well in the pool twice a week

last year but died in Oz with 2-3 hours daily use over their summer.

One of the advantages of being a non-swimmer!! I've had the same

bikini, used for sunbathing only so the top gets hardly any use, for

over 16 years!! My teenage children HATE me going topless, I " prance

about like a porn star " according to them, do those of you with older

children find you get the same response about nakedness?

However, going back to the topic on hand, my children's cossies

certainly tend to fall apart very quickly. They go bare and into

balls over the space of a fortnight's holiday. I always assumed it

was because children's clothes always seem to be of far worse quality

than adults. Both of them now have adult Speedos and I will be

seriously displeased if they don't last the holiday as they each cost

over £20!!

Akiko (who shouldn't be here, I should be washing, ironing and

packing but this is much more fun!)
