I am curious if you had to deal with any cavitation or root canal issues and so what you ended up doing?

I'm very thankful. By the way, if a person got all their merc out and did no chelation, would they ever get rid of it ? Marcia
Guest guest
Hi Bill, I did not have any root canals or issues with cavitations. I just had amalgams and had these replaced with inlays nearly a year before I actually chelated. I did was hoping just by having them out my issues would resolve. In fact they got worse. > > Thanks for informative post. Always good to hear about those who have > managed a successful recovery. Guest guest
> http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/frequent-dose-chelation/message/24072 Phil, When you started chelation were there any medications that you were on and were you able to get off of those with chelation? Did you have any symptoms of thyroid and adrenal issues and did those resolve with chelation? Were there any times during chelation when you felt that your liver or kidneys needed support and what did you do to help them out. Thanks again J

Guest guest
> Thanks, hope you are still getting better? Hi Phil, I've actually 'gotten' fully better :-) Now I'm just working on optimizing, maintaining and ensuring all the posion is out. Have had a 6 month break from chelation and am starting it up again. I can't tell you how good the break was after a sustained period of chelation that cured most of my ills. My body has really strengthed during the break. Well done on your progress! DeanSA
Guest guest
is, in case people forget to separate into paragraphs (which probably tends to happen when you just type and try to get it all on paper), maybe you should copy it over into Word, then just separate it into sections every few lines so it isn't overwhelming to you. Just a suggestion : Donna Posted by: " is " alexis.atrekkie22@... atrekkie22 * i have dyslexia and associated concentration/ reading issues so smaller chunks of text are easier for me to read. i am interested in what the person is writting about but feel i cannot join in with the praise as i cant read it. I was just wondering if anyone of the people who recovered fully had a follow-up hair test? It would be interesting to see some before's and after's... ~robin

Especially the question regarding the state of your adrenals/thyroid before you started, and as you continued. Your story has been a timely encouragement for me, thank you. Guest guest
Hi , I was not on any meds before chelation. The only thing I found that I could come off were supplements that I needed to make me feel better etc. I had adrenal issues, I could not tolerate any stress at all, I had to avoid any sort of debate or pressue. I tried taking high amounts of B5 and other things like salt to help this. I also had hypothyroid symptoms which again I had tried various supplements to help it along. I don't know whether these two helped but I took 400mcg of selenium & 600mcg iodine pd over the last 2 yrs. My hair levels went up but I cannot remember if these were any use for getting indications of body levels. My liver always seemed to struggle, I took livertone daily and tried a few liver flushes. The liver flushes kept wrecking my digestive system so after the third I stopped. I did not get any issues with my kidneys or at least to my knowledge nothing on going. So overall I took just supplements to try and correct these issues. They all lasted for the majority of the 2yrs chelating. I would say around round 70-100 those issues started to dissapear, everything pretty much disappeared around this time. Almost like someone just flicked a switch at somepoint and suddenly I realised. I don't find I am weak in these areas now either. Which I always expected, in fact e.g. I can handle a lot of stress but knowing what I do I try to avoid long term stints. Guest guest
Hello Phil, Very interesting story since I have similar GI problems. A question: you mention some numbers (see below) and dosages, but what was your typical length of a round? 5 days ON and 5 days OFF? Or some other combination? Regards, Finkle > I am now at round 107 just about 2yrs of chelation. Started > out at 25mg dmsa/4hrs. 5 rounds went to 50mg, 10 rounds went to 25mg > dmsa/50mg ala. Stopped DMSA round 45. Increase ALA to 100mg shortly > after but started getting issues with pains in my fingers after 8 > rounds or so. So then just stayed at 50mg ALA per dose each round for > the rest of the time till now.
