Then dashed straight back out again because he realised he'd put him filofax on the roof of the Montego when he was getting back in the car from picking up some chips. He drove back retracing his steps and found it by the side of the road. It had been driven oven once or twice and looked a little sad and very flat. He was very very relived as ALL of his business contacts are in it, he will be able to straighten out the rings with some strong pliers so it should live to fight another day. Phew.
