Note.....That says 2005 !

Subject: IPF Seminar: Geffen School of Medicine at UCLATo: Breathe-Support Date: Monday, April 20, 2009, 9:51 AM

Anyone know anything about the free seminar on Wednesday, April 22? I was trying to get a referral from my insurance company for one of the clinics specializing in PF. Today they sent me this link info@coalitionforpf .orgWHAT: "Living with Pulmonary Fibrosis" Free SeminarWHEN: Friday, April 22, 2005Registration 9:30 - 10:00amProgram 10:00am - 2:30pmLight lunch will be servedWHERE: UCLA Faculty Center, California Room480 Young Drive, Los AngelesThe seminar will feature nationally recognized Pulmonary Fibrosis specialists from UCLA, Strieter, M.D., Zisman, M.D., ph Lynch, III, M.D, Ross, M.D., Keane, M.D., Belperio, M.D., and Rajan Saggar, M.D. In addition, our Clinical Research Nurse, Golleher, R.N. and Clinical Research Coordinator, Vicki Christodoulou, M.S. will also be

speaking. The seminar will address diagnosis, current standards of care, pulmonary hypertension, promising new agents, lung transplantation, and life management issues. For more information and to register, please contact Golleher, R.N. at or by email at sgolleher (AT) mednet (DOT) ucla.edu.Kind of a short notice and still no movement on a referral. I suggested that they might need release forms signed to get the information that I have on CD to the hospitals that they are looking at (Jewish Medical in Denver and UCLA. Feels like more run-around. Don't know if I want to run off to California Wednesday. I haven't got any hotel, car... and my husband isn't taking off work... and it will have to come out of my savings (I am going to the bank today and removing money from an IRA CD so that I have access to it for medical purposes). I just hate

spending money on a seminar that I might need for medical procedures!! !Stefani

I made the mistake of catching the April 22 date and not looking at the year. I

received this from my insurance carrier.

Thanks.... I must be losing it. I will try to be more careful before I put

stuff like this on here.

The programs sponsored by the coalition for pulmonary fibrosis are excellent. I went to one in New York a couple of years ago. If you ever have the opportunity to go to one, i highly recommend it.
