You could try Diflucan.

I used that for a while a few months ago with some success, though

ultimately I think chelation is the only long term cure.

In Fatigued to Fantastic, the author Tietelbaum talks about long term

use of diflucan for some people.

Good luck getting a doctor to prescribe enough of it to you. I think a

holistic doc might, but your random mainstream GP might not. I had one

doc give me a month's supple a year ago. I have also bought some from

an overseas pharmacy, when I didn't want to hassle of going through

another doc.

Aine,

I used Nystatin tablets many, many years ago with great success and no

side effects other than the temporary headaches that sometimes go along

with yeast die off. I found the drug safe, affective and easy to use.

However, I have been unable to find it in tablet form in recent years.

If anyone knows if it is still available in tablet form, please let me

know. Thanks.

I have had glorious results with Humaworm. Absolutely turned my life

around. I have done a couple of month long cleanses now, and each

time I just get better and better.

http://humaworm.com/formula.html

They also have a very good support forum over on curezone. If you

type in " candida " into the search box you, do a little reading, can

find many people that have also had glorious success with these

herbs.

Good luck

Hi Aine

First : The Parasites

I am not up on my yeast cures but IF the wormwood combination is

working I would think that would indicate parasites. I have had these

liver flukes for a few years now and do believe as moderators (I believe

it was TK) have indicated that chelation will in turn help deal with the

parasites. I have found that to be true...expelling every month or so

a batch of dead looking parasites, that i believe have been holed up in

my liver/gallbladder. I have read that mercury begats yeast which

begats the environment for parasites...maybe you are aware of all this

so sorry if its redundant

Second Item: Yeast

diet is critical..no sugars or sugar substitutes, no processed foods.

no fruit juices. I think the hard core anti yeast diets also recommend

no fruits (due to the sugars)

AI_ recommends Biotin and also that by treating adrenals worth HC that

HC is also anti candida. I also believe that in the file or links

sections on problems caused by neutropenia (low white blood cells??)

that this can also help an environment for yeast /parasites and Andy has

a whole list of items there for support, including arginine (should be

taken with lysine)

I have also heard the drugs " CAN " have bad side effects , so I am

avoiding and trying other alternatives

Alinia (http://www.drugs.com/cdi/alinia.html) worked best for me for

parasites. I tried every kind of herbal thing; they were HARD on my

system & didn't do much.

Got my yeast issues under control by a strict sugar/starch-free diet

for 6 months, THEN adding in naturals like 10-undecenoic acid, oregano

oil, caprylic acid etc. I followed the naturals with prescriptions:

nystatin powder, diflucan, itraconozole.

If you have yeast you have parasites and vice versa. (Now I know it

also means you have mercury...)

Any successful treatment for either pathogenic malady will cause pretty

tough side-effects, not from the drugs per se but from the buggers' die-

off. There's no avoiding it so you have to aim for control of symptoms

as you go along. And be patient..

Since die-off is so tough, before ANY drug, herbal or otherwise, you

should simply deprive them of their food. You'll have plenty of

horrible die-off reactions from the sugar/starch-free diet alone &

crave sugar and starch like some kind of junkie. Bloating, vertigo,

brainfog, depression: and that's from the diet alone.

If you throw in herbs/drugs before the diet you'll be jeapardizing your

hard-working liver needlessly.
