Guest guest
Donelle,, Yeppers I used to raise wolves when we lived in Oklahoma. They are hybreds. The one I have is 96% wolf. I stopped raising litters and selling them once I decided that people wanted them for the wrong reasons. They do not make good pets. They are mostly one owner animals. And if you must have one you must keep it for its life. They do not do good with being given up to new owners. They are very inteligent animals and very difficult to contain. It made me sick when people wanted to own one thinking it was macho. These animals are anything but macho. For the most part they are very timid and do not like to be around strangers. My wolf loves kids but is terrified of strange adults. I love her dearly but would not recomend one as a pet. They take a lot of special care and commitment. Guest guest
Yes, I have thought of glueing a cell phone on my son. I probably will. For now I ussually know where he is at and can go after him at any time. I have gone to get him before when I needed him or when he was running late. Also went and checked on him to make sure he was where he said he would be. But a cell phione is a wonderful thing. Yes, I have left the keys in the cars too. Small towns are wonderful!!! Ingrid > We not only leave our doors unlocked, we leave the keys in the door. We have a dog that jumps on the door when we come home, and he is prone to lock us out. Also, there are 3 vehicles sitting in the driveway right now with keys in them. > > Small town tattletales do help in raising teenagers. Makes them furious at times though. > > A piece of advise, a cell phone is worth every penny. I believe I might have gone crazy (crazier) when mine started going out without me. It wasn't necessarily the driving that freaked me out, it was them going places with no adult. > > They are now 22 and 24 so I did survive it. The 24 year old bought a house and moved out in May. It's only 4 miles away , so I tell him its not like he's moved. It is more like I have 2 houses to keep. However, he is doing better at cleaning and laundry than I thought he would. > > Get a cell phone, it will save you a lot of worry. > > MA > > Re: Re: Ingrid and aaarrrggghhhhh > > > Wow, Ingrid...I'm putting you on my list of " places to visit " ...would love > to see the River and the waterfalls. Guest guest
My wolf's name is Koda, It is supposed to mean Friend in Indian. Not sure which Indian language, I think a friend had told me that is what it meant. I liked the name so gave it to her. Ingrid > How bless-ed of you to care so much for your wolf. Guest guest
He may sleep with the cell phone, but I better check for the best deal on minutes in town. He already has my home phone ringing off the hook. Cannot imagine the bill he would run up with a cell phone. Better have lots of minutes. Ingrid > > > In a message dated 7/28/2005 10:21:48 A.M. Guest guest
Jolene, You are so right about the spoilt rich kids driving. When I see the nice new cars that are parked in the school lots.... The parents buy their kids these nice fancy cars and their kids do not have to work for them to deserve them. (Those Parents believe they are buying thier childrens love) Of course then they have no respect for taking care of that car since they did not work for them. If they crash it they just get another. I feel when a child no matter how old has to work and work hard for what they want they tend to take better care of it since they then understand how hard it is to earn it. My neice and nephew get everything handed to them on a silver spoon. Have every vidio game out and everything they want. I cannot stand being around them since they just think everyone owes them. They come here and want to ride one of the horses. I put them on the safest horse I have since neither of them know anything about riding. Of course then one or the other gets mad because they want to ride another one or the one they choose. And actually get snippy with me. Enough said on spoilt bratts!!!! I think it is better that kids work and earn their rights and material things so they have better respect for it. As for a cell phone.... I intend on getting one in the future. Right now he stays pretty close and I always can check to see where he is at. Ingrid > Sleeping with cell phones, brought to mind an article I just read. Wish > I could remember the whole story now.
