What a great release of tension, Marty...you just " needed " to run and cry!!!

Hang in there...you are doing great!!!

That is it Marty (not -sorry about that post), keep on trying. You

did as good as you could and best the next try will be somewhat

better. I am struggling now too trying to get my strength back. With all

my feel good drugs finally out of my system, I hurt everywhere and knees

are the worst. Also with my COPD, have more sob (short of breath)

episodes and need to get in shape or I will not survive that irish fest

over labor day. Is alot of walking. I can do walking, pace myself etc.

But have to get strengthened up as I was before surgery. Anyway, you are

doing well to keep trying... You will be where you were before in due

time. God Bless Jolene

Marty, Please do not stress yourself over the fact that you are not

running like you used to. The chemo does take its toll on your body.

For now till chemo is over with just take it easy. You will get it

all back then. Just let you body go through the abuse of the chemo.

Oh my gosh that's funny! After 2 years of this I can say 1 throneroom is

There is a theory that we tighten our muscles trapping emotional stress and

exercise can suddenly release the lockdown on that stress, and so it surprises

us with the force and suddenness. Just a theory....

I did my walk 1 mile video and sure made a difference already in my

breathing... Will do it several days then move up to the two mile tape.

It was only 15 minutes but really made me feel better. Glad you

finished up your exercise Karima.. Tomorrow I will do some regular

exercise - (old people exercises, lol) with the walking tape. I sure

don't think it can be over done, both are very low key exercises. Love

to be able to do the Salsa tape I got LOL === maybe later on like next

year or so. I have a belly dancing tape too, but it is so funny... but

quite a work out - never gotten through it...

Maybe I need to start producing a " Cancer-size " excercise video-thing.

Might become the rage, no? Or should it be : " Colo-Recto-size " , " Movements

you can do while doing movements " , do it right on our home away from home,

the white " exercise chair with the water in it. Or, maybe " Chemo-robics "

I'll figure out a way to use the IV poles for exercise movements.

Just thinking out loud...
