Guest guest
Lorri, If your husband hasn't been seen by a comprehensive cancer center - please get a second opinion there. No one knows who will beat the odds and who will not. Some of the worst cases win and some of the sure-things don't. Priscilla A. It spread to the liver and a few spots in a abdomon. They said it was to late for surgery and he had a year or less to life. He went in for a coloascapy and thats how they discovered the spot on his colon . Then they did a pet scan and biopcy. He is getting his 3rd treatment of chemo Tuesday the Aug. 2nd.He hasn't had any side effects yet from the chemo. Thank God! He is feeling fine.It is just hard to know he only has a year or less to live.I am praying the chemo will shrink the tumors and gives him a few more years. We have seven kids. A blended family.4 girls and 3 boys. We took the news pretty hard at first. Now a month later we are relying on prayer to give us our streigth. Father's day was rough. They just put my husband on disability at work. He can't work due to safty reasons. My boss just told me he was letting me go cause I have been missing to much work due to my husband needing! me.so I will be job hunting next week. The kids start school next week too. Help! Hope to hear from someone. Lorri Newsome
