Guest guest
If possible have a sit down with the charge nurse. Write down exactly what they are giving your mom so you can discuss this with the onc. Is there any way you can take your mom home and care for her. Most nursing homes just are horrible but if you stay on their ass they will usually get shit done. I will be thinking good thoughts for your mom and you. Guest guest
Diane, You need to get your mom readmitted into the hospital. If need be take her into ER. When I had my colon blochage I was throwing up green stuff several times a day. And of course could not go poop. It sounds like your mom has a blochage. She needs medical attention. Yes the morphine can cause some constipation, but this really sounds like she is having a blochage. I know this is just my opinion but this does sound serious. I cannot believe the nurses in the nursing home do not see the signs of this. Ingrid > It's been a little while since I posted.
