Hi Kristi,

Your post reminds me of my doctor's office calling yesterday and waking me up

to tell me they'd scheduled an ultrasound, the one I'd already had after work

that morning. It does make you wonder.

You've been on the 7.5 mg long enough to safely move down into the 5.0

region. This should help with your hypo symptoms. Take care, elaine

I'd suggest staying on 7.5 and getting labs again a couple days before the

doctor's appt. Try to get FT4, and FT3 and tell them to forget the total and

uptake, they are a waste of your money!

They are " old " tests, not as accurate. The total measures all the hormone,

not what's available. Elaine could tell you more.

Thanks Terry! I'll be sure to ask my doc for the right tests next time. I want

the TSI test too and I know she'll argue with me over that. I'm feeling good

though and more able to argue right back. :)

Thanks Terry! I'll be sure to ask my doc for the right tests next time. I want
