With everybody talking about adrenals on this forum I thought I'd share

another perspective. Pyroluria is a disorder of some sort where your

body cannot hold onto zinc and b6. Both are needed to manage stress.

So if this is a problem, your adrenals will be affected. I tested

through the roof on with this. Not everybody believes this is real -

it may be a symptom of something else - metal toxicity? But either

way, you have to replenish b6/zinc if you're not holding onto it. The

doc said it could take awhile to balance out.

---------Val, how did this doc know to test for this, or what symptoms made

him suspect it?---------Jackie

The test is simple and doesn't require a doctor. It's about $80 and

consists of sending a urine sample to a lab.

-----------Do you mean through Direct Labs?----------Jackie

***** I had myself tested. I came across it in my research and it made

alot of sense -especially the part about not tanning.

would discuss the results with you. If you google pyroluria you'll

find a ton of info on it.

Val and Jackie,

I'm curious about the pyroluria issue, as I have seen it mentioned

numerous times during my research on anxiety/depression and metal

toxicity. I'm curious, do either of you have any problems with

anxiety and/or panic?

Thanks - Michele
