Guest guest
I agree Dan... Glenn has a she " " , card angel, and a she, Stacie, chemo angel. Both are great cheer-me-uppers!! Ironically, neither of these " angels " has even had cancer and one has never had anyone in her life ever affected by Cancer. They are just great, caring young ladies!! It is a huge " bright spot " in Glenn's week, as he's home every day all day long alone, on the 4 days a week that I work. Something to look forward to each week. They email with me all the time and always mention me in their cards to Glenn, which is a great " boost " to me, as well. Have even sent me little " hope " trinkets and emails. We've exchanged photos and the relationship is developing on a weekly basis. Stacie's children are very involved in helping her pick out gifts for Glenn. What a great thing to teach youngsters!! This support group we are in is " the greatest " gift I've received, but the chemo angels are right up there, too!! It's always nice to know someone cares!!! Lots of hugs and prayers, Donelle Caregiver to Glenn

I keep saying if I get cured... will I still have my good friends and the answer is of course. If you are having chemo and want a buddy/friend its wonderful. I look forward to their snail mails and have become internet friends with them and also talk to them on the phone. Some people have no contact with their chemo angels but i would find that hard because my 2 angels Barb and are awesome awesome people and I'm glad I got to meet them. Nonnie I agree Nonnie...those angels are angels...huh? Glenn gets all the goodies, but I have the email contact, which is awesome.
