Perhaps you would tolerate it better and feel better on rounds (and be more able to appreciate the joys in life!). Some do better on ALA, but I'm thinking if you are high cysteine that is unlikely. You could be one of those people whose symptoms increase as the round length increases. Maybe you didn't notice a worsening on day 3 in the past because you were moving less mercury then. Also possible that you just had a bad round and next time things will be smoother. > > > Think my adrenals took a beating….temps are down & feeling cold > > > again. This makes me wonder if your thyroid and adrenal support is optimal for your needs. > Sunshine: If I get symptoms and I feel I need to dose more frequently > on the next round should I a) increase the frequency or stop the > round? > > My gut feeling is to increase the frequency as stopping rounds early > leads to more off-round re-distribution symptoms (which I had before > after I missed a dose.) The only thing to be aware of is if you increase the frequency, you are increasing the total amount of chelator per day, so the total amount of metals moved can change. If you switch from 3 hours to 2.5 hours, it is a small difference and I doubt it would cause any problem. Seems to me it would be less risky than ending the round early. --
