Guest guest
We're off this Friday to a villa (with pool) near Girona for 2 weeks in the sun (hooray!!), each of the girls will be taking a friend so we will have 2 nearly 15 and 2 just 12. Any recommendations/things to avoid would be most welcome. I am looking forward to Barcelona where I have never been though the kids hate museums, churches etc. in fact, any sightseeing whatsoever! We took 4 girls to Crete last year and that worked really well, though my husband was told by a macho Greek waiter " Next time you must have a boy " ..... What a great idea, your DS's must think you are " really > cool " taking friends away with you. Personally I find it easier too > to have same-age friends with my DS though we haven't taken any on > holiday yet... watch this space. This holiday would have been FAR FAR easier if Yeshaya had managed to take a friend with him; I was so desperate I'd have gladly paid for his air fare but we couldn't get anyone to come along. Partly everyone was already organised (camps etc) and partly the parents were worried about the situation. But on the one occasion we have brought a friend along, by the end of 2 or 3 weeks they weren't friends any more ( Ruthie
