Guest guest
Have him pray for Phil and I Just wondering is the prayer done outside or in sweat lodges? We were on a Chipewa Cree reservation in Montana years ago and they prayed in the sweat lodge which is kind of like a steam sauna with hot rocks where the men or women pray and meditate. It is considered a holy place and the sweating as I recall is a form of spiritual cleansing. The lodges were used by both traditional Native religions and those members of the tribe who were Christian just different sets of prayers for each group. Please have him Pray for , Glenn and Donelle, Peta & her family, Joe Savage, and all the rest. Can never get enough prayers. This is the message I have received back. I must tell you that since the last prayer/ceremony time that was held for those of you who wished to be included, the adawehi has asked about you all numerous times. He feels that he has found one of his purposes for being, and that is to pray for and care constantly about people fighting cancer. You all have deeply touched many peoples' hearts:) Anyway, here is his message and feel free to email me if you want to be included by name. The whole list membership is always included, but names make it so much more personal. And there is no hidden motive behind this, believe me!!. No one will ever ask you for anything. Guest guest
>>> Have him pray for Phil and I Just wondering is the prayer done outside or in sweat lodges? >>>> Hi Narice and of course you and Phil will be included:) I guess I just have a funny idea about 'active participation' in prayer. I believe that if you " ask " for it, that makes you an active part of it, and therefore, in expectation of an answer. Everyone on this list, and my gyn cancer list, are included in a ceremonial prayer time every Friday night.....as a group. But there is just something about knowing, asking, believing and receiving:) Anyway, the ceremonies are conducted outside, around a sacred fire. There is quite a lengthy preparation time. It has to have the seven sacred woods, put on in a certain order, each with a prayer, and it goes on and on and on:) But it is outside. And starts at dusk and goes until dawn. It is not a public ceremony. Most likely, it will be conducted and attended by only three people. >>>Glenn and Donelle, Peta & her family, Joe Savage, and all the rest.>>> Done:) nancy ---------- Internal Virus Database is out-of-date. Guest guest
, please ask the adawehi to pray for Sam and Deb. He is a 62 year old man from eastern Kansas. I agree it is a special night of the new moon. Beautiful. I hope that we see the moon here and it is not cloudy. God bless the adawehi and the prayer warriors. God bless you, , for the work that you do.
