Guest guest
traditional chinese medicine has it that the liver is the seat of anger in the body and when the liver is under great exertion such as helping to filter out toxic metals (and maybe even some yeast die-off,) one can feel a great deal of anger. otherwise a calm and measured person, when under-going any sort of detoxification, my first reaction to even the silliest things is anger. stressed liver = irritable me. all those years of undiagnosed celiac and i was angry all the time. thought it was my personality! i didn't know about the metals then but had nearly every other problem. was in the hospital more than once. my liver was always being tested for elevated enzymes and the like. i've been tested for hepatitis about a dozen times. when i finally learned about celiac, (learned i had both hla-dq genes and stage III villous atrophy,) once i eliminated the gluten and dairy, i felt so peaceful.. after all those angry edgy years, it was incredible. i was actually a nice calm person. now, with chelation, i can feel the congested liver again and the source of the anger is right there under the surface. knowing what i now know i can nip it in the bud before i do or say something too terrible, something i regret later. it helps me to know that there's no reason to be angry it's just my body stressing a bit with the elimination of a toxin. my first round chelating caused a strain on my liver but not so much that i couldn't control it. that was a sign to me that i am on the right path with the right amounts of chelators. listen to your liver :-) ~robin
