Here in Missouri, we were hitting 104 and 106 last week and weekend. Yesterday

was just 99:)

We are closely watching a cold front just to our northwest and hoping!!!

Could some of ya all up that way step outside and blow that front to the

southeast??? *grin*

I had forgotten about CO not having air conditioning until you mentioned it

here. Our oldest son and family went on vacation there a few years ago. And just

could not believe there was no air conditioning!!

I wonder if people in southern Louisianna, Mississippi, etc have furnaces????

I'm wondering about the no air conditioning. Can't you buy single window units

in those places to use on the hottest days? ~~Dianna

Oh we have a furnaces down south. Gets cold here too, but seldom much

below freezing. If it gets to 15 F.. better watch out cause all our

water pipes will be froze.. What a mess. LOL.. when we bought out house

in 1976 it did not have AC.... and each room had a gas space heater, our

living room had a floor heater, each bed room had space heater as well

as bath room. We left one in the bath room for awhile. Sure made it cozy

in there. In the add on part, (family/dining area) was a wall heater

with its own thermostat. We left that it for awhile too then finally got

rid of the one in bathroom and add on. The Heater is still in add on,

leave a big hole in the wall if we took it out but the gas is

disconnected from it. The floor heater in lroom is also disconnected we

just covered it up with carpeting..... Jolene

Jay, Could you then just send a plane for us!!! I mean you don't have

to fly it, just have a buddy do that. Then we all can sit with you

during your infusion and drive you crazy!!! Ingrid
