Guest guest
My first cardiac cath was for a heart attack and what turned out to be a 99% blockage. I had no time to be scared or anything over it and since I had morphine in the ER I really did not care about it. However, I have had 4 more since then. They really are nothing to be too worried about. I was always given one of those I know but I don't care drugs. You know the kind where they could have told me they were going to take my leg off and I probably would have said ok. The biggest problem I also found was after when they make you lie still and not move for hours. Afterwards your back will hurt from lieing still but the incision will be ok. There is some sedation but it didn't take long. Guess it also depends on what all dr orders too. Dr will insert a device up through the groin and up through a vein to look at the heart... At least that is how MINE was done. Good Luck.. MamaSher; 70, IPF 3-06, OR. NasturtiumsDon't fret about tomorrow, God is already there! Heart Cath ?
