Walt, prednisone is a very tricky drug to come off of. Beth did it pretty quick at 20mg at a time.  I did that from 60 to 20mg and nearly went to the hosp. I had pain in so many places it wasn't funny. So talk to your Dr and when you start decreasing listen to your body. She is in the care of hospice in her home and is at the end stage of both pulmonary fibrosis and pulmonary hypertension.
