Guest guest
Hi Janice Welcome to the group I've put some of my details in my signature. > I'd love to hear from anyone who has experienced an emergency c-section for a > low lying placenta, and has gone on to have a vaginal delivery....of even had > a c-section and gone on to have a 'normal' delivery. Can't help with your question but I'm waiting to have a scan at 32 wks to find out if I still have a low lying placenta. Just wondering, you say emergency c/s does this mean you didn't know it was low lying before going into labour? There's a really good Yahoo Group that you might be interested in called HBAC which is for people wanting a home-birth after a previous c/s but would be of use to you wherever you plan to give birth. But there are other people on this list who'll be able to tell you more ... Suzanna for one ... Jenni (& Gethyn) South Wales *, nearly 17yrs Horrible Hospital Birth induction, edidural, manual removal of retained placenta with no anaesthetic. *Mari 3yrs Happy Home-Birth Transferred to hospital with a retained placenta ended up with a pph, GA and blood transfusions because of their failure to recognise the seriousness of my condition. * Babi Bach exp.09/2001 Home-Birth (as long as low lying placenta obliges!)
