I feel like breaking things,

Anger was my biggest problem. Bottom line: only 2 years of

chelation managed it. I've tried GABA, melatonin, lots of magnesium,

and Taurine. Just recently, I've tried Lithium and believe it may

help, but my problem is nearly resolved anyway.

I lost a fiance that I dearly adored because I went into a sudden

rage and told her off one day. My current wife has put up with the

same thing, but now that we believe the mercury thing, she can see

the pattern. (Although we've been driven to counseling due to our

fights.)I've put my toddler's birthday cake on the ceiling and down a

wall, put holes in the drywall, and broken many dishes.

The key is to avoid what aggravates anger. I saw a pattern with

raising doses too quickly. It took me 1.5 years to get from 25mg to

37.5mg of ALA. After a couple months of 37.5, I went to 50 mg and

now feel great. Yeast played a huge role for me as well. My wife

actually feared sugar because of what it did to me mentally. She

would tackle me and take food away from me if I cheated on the diet.

It doesn't help to have a grumpy spouse or mouthy kids either. Do

whatevery you can to avoid arguments (Yes, you have an excuse to be

angry but it's not worth the damage).

My sympathies,

, thanks so much for posting this and being so honest. The emotional stuff

can be the hardest sometimes. I knew Andy mentioned something about this in AI,

so your post made me go find it.

On page 72 he writes, " The physical symptoms resolve before the emotional ones. "

And, " You are poisoned. You are not CRAZY. Sometimes you might ACT crazy until

the mercury is gone. You might even FEEL crazy while there is a bunch of

mercury banging around in your head. When it is gone, you might need some time

to cope with all the emotional baggage it left behind. "

I think we all can relate to that.---------Jackie

.....OH YEAH!! I know what this feels like. It has diminished

greatly but I use to touch my children gently when I had these feels

just to prove I could make to choice of being gentle. I would feel

so angry. I had very sad moments with my oldest before I

understood.

I do know that on some rounds I have more anger than others - none as

much as I used to. Going on 5 HTP I think was what really helped.

I wish I had more helpful comments to make but I really, really do

understand your comment. At one point I no longer knew who I was.

Also Andy says that the emotional stuff you experience with ALA

usually is consistent - so some people get angry, others sad, others

depressed, etc. He says that the pattern usually stays the same and

does not get worse. (This was not written to me but said in a

consultation conversation)

You might also want to find a good cranial sacral person who does

emotional release work. I have done that before to great effect.

Hang in there.

Oh, Ya.

Liver support, big time: taurine, glycine, lecithin and milk thistle.

And lots of anti-oxidants.

Also, consider lowering dose.

And just apologize and let them know that this may happen some more.

Can be really embarrassing sometimes. Other times, they really deserve it!

:)

I would add that mindfulness meditation, after some training period,

is a very powerful tool to deal with anger and other " bad " emotions.

Maybe you would like to read " Mindfulness in Plain English " , by Bhante

H. Gunaratana. It is freely available in the web.

Warmest regards,

Hi Jackie,

I am sure Andy has referred to this in either books or posts. I did

cranial during amalgam removal which took about 9 months to complete.

I also did one or two just after but lately I haven't - mostly because

I can't drive myself to a practisioner who lives just outside of

town. I am trying to find someone in town.

Have you tried taking 5HTP? That seems to help reduce anger

for some folks.

Jackie,

YOu have helped by reminding me of the ups and downs. I felt like I

could hurt someone, very unpleasant for me, not comfortable with

anger in the first place. Geez I hate mercury.
