Guest guest
What type of infections did you get? That is a real concern to me as I am around dogs and horses and all the muck that goes with them. I read that this was due to years-long low thyroid / adrenals. After two years on replacement cortisol, Armour thyroid and extra T3, my nails are much stronger, and the white moon at the base of the nail is reappearing after many years :-)) So my nails are getting better, but my adrenals are still shot - imagine I'll be on adrenal support for life. Guest guest
Hi Just a couple of minor surface infections from overzealous filing - these all cleared up by themselves. It also hurt when I banged my nails against anything, because the nails were so thin. I forgot to mention that I have been eating protein with every meal since becoming mercury toxic, and this has probably also helped with strengthening the nails. Are you on adrenal / thyroid support? Guest guest
Hi Nicola That doesn't sound too serious. I am on Adreset for my adrenals. Have not posted copy of thyroid test. asked me about free T3, which I don't see on this test; maybe it is there and I just don't know what I am looking at.
