That might work for the list but you have no idea how many people are writing right now from the webpages and referrals and subscribing to the list due to fears coming up and they all require going over so that not just anyone is on the list. Yes, the beginner homeopathy class might be too much. But in order to use these remedies everyone is asking for people need to know how to do it. Guest guest
I have been lurking from a friends computer for some time now because I didn't have my own computer until now. All this about enzymes is so confusing and controversial. I am looking to start enzymes with my 3 yr old daughter. She is GFCF, so can someone direct me to the appropriate formulation to begin with. Thanks, Liz
Guest guest
--Liz, I started Houston brand enzymes when my son just turned three last Oct. while strictly gf/cf and soy free and saw amaizing results! I was VERY strictly on diet (my son even had his own toaster) and the enzymes still made a huge difference. He had really bad sensory problems that went away with enzymes, agression stopped and he had much fewer temper tantrums. Then when we added the no-fenol a month ago he has become so much calmer and less hyper. (we were not eliminating phenols while gf/cf) We did have a 5 month period where we had a really bad yeast flare up that we treated heavily over the winter (if you have a yeast flare up it can look like a food reaction)and now he is pretty much NT while on enzymes and no-phenol. We have just in the last month gone off diet with enzymes and he is doing great (but yes that is another controversy that is a personal choice for us) We started out with 1/4 capsule of each enzyme with the biggest meal of the day and then worked up to 1/4 capsule with every meal untill we increased up to a capsule with each meal and snacks. (1/2 capsule if it is a little snack) Patti In @y..., " daycaremom2k " <daycaremom2k@y...> wrote: > I have been lurking from a friends computer for some time now because > I didn't have my own computer until now. Guest guest
>>All this about enzymes is so confusing and controversial. Hi from Lurkland! I would be happy to send you some basic information. Hopefully it will become un-confusing very quickly. I don't undertand about it being controversial? What is controversial about it? . Guest guest
, Thanks for offering more information. I feel like I should be a book by now. I have gone into the files section and downloaded all that information. It is all very helpfull. Controversy....I have been reading posts for a while now, and see that sometime everyone does not agree with everything. That is ok. But this board can get rough sometimes. The more information we moms can get the better, right?? Thanks again for all the information you provide. It is so detailed at times, just what the Dr. ordered..hehe Thanks, Liz > >>All this about enzymes is so confusing and controversial. > > Hi from Lurkland! Guest guest
Patti, We have been GFCF for only 6 months now, but I'm sure she gets cross contamination quite a bit. It is so hard to follow. I would love to go off the diet all together. How long after starting enzymes should I try introducing gluten and casein containing foods? How will I know the difference between a negative reaction and a positive one. Sometimes even though the kids are having a bad day it seems that they could indeed be having a positive reaction like a die off, right? I think I am beginning to understand all this. A friend of mine has some enzymes that she is using with her almost 3 yr old son, and he is doing great. Maybe she will let me borrow some to try out and if it works I can always pay her back when I begin ordering. Guest guest
Prior to my son graduating in 2003, I had fought to get him a job coach. Did his transition planning several yrs before that, but don't remember our PAS agency working with me during the transition stage. He did do a couple jobs at school, but ended up going to a workshop. Tried 3 different " DT program " . None of them worked well for him. Tried to get CILA funding for him, but he didn't " qualify " . Can't get Home based either. Ended up doing the ICF thing & as many of you know, THAT was a disaster. So now he stays at home with his dad during the day...sleeping, rocking, playing music & I get to fight with him to get out on my " days off " or my late work days. I have information on lots of different things, but it doesn't do any good when you can't have access to it. I have an 18 yr old nephew with challenges in MN who will be graduating this spring. I know my sister isn't looking forward to his future as an adult. Liz
