--------I'm not sure what Andy would say about the extra zinc, but I

do know that he says that " selenium is potentially toxic at doses

not far from those used in supplementation " . See page 162 of AI.

So I would be very concerned about that much selenium, it is more

than double the recommended dose.---------Jackie

--------On the selenium, it definitely could be.-----Jackie

------Also, I don't know if it's in all of their stuff, but one of

their items I looked at, link in another post, it contained NAC and

broccoli, which are both sulfury. So that may be another concern,

if you're sulfur sensitive.---------Jackie

Hi.

I'm thinking of using Life Extention Mix Caps for my husband as a multivitamin

rather

than downing so many pills. It's more affordable and easier. After reading the

label, it

appears that he should take 4 capsules a day (spread apart) to get the

Magnesium and Vit.

B needs met, plus adding extra Molybdenum and Inositol (as well as EFAs, of

course) to

meet the dosage needs for those.

===>Something's wrong here, we gave our little 40 lber (4) capsules of the LEF

per day. The adult dose for capsules is (14) spread throughout the day and I

don't think there is anywhere near this amount of zinc in them. Are you sure you

were looking at the right product?

For those high in sulfur the NAC and broccoli extract may present a problem in

the LEF product. I did check the dosage of NAC with Andy, as we were chelating,

and he told me to keep the dose low, between 100-200 mgs per day, which is what

we did and she got along fine.
