Guest guest
Hello everyone, I don't have any official test results, but I saw my family doctor at 4:00 today. She did bloodwork for the BetaHCG, TSH, FT4 and T3. She will call me as soon as she gets the results tomorrow. She also did not think that the surgery would affect this pregnancy -- and also said that she has had many patients that have done worse things and have had successful pregnancies. So I am feeling a little better -- I will update everyone again tomorrow. Again thank you for all your support and replies. . . Guest guest
Hi Carmel I've just read your posts regarding your pregnancy. Congratulations. I know how much you want a baby. I hope the Dr is right. I'm sure she is, especially if the foetus hadn't implanted yet. As others have said the risk would be minimal if it didn't share a blood supply with you yet. Also calcium & Vit D should not have any negative effect on the foetus. Isn't it amazing that it happens when you least expect it! You've done one better than me - I fell immediately after surgery - you fell immediately before!!!! Let us know how things go. I hope you are taking it easy. Now you have double the reason to be pampered by hubby (say hi and congrats to him too). Cheers Caroline
