Guest guest
When I last saw my ND (yes, Pam, the one you don't like ;-), he told me about an article he was reading about negative ion generators and one paragraph in particular that caught his attention. It cited a study of the effects of negative ions on Graves' patients, claiming that 45% of the patients in the study were helped dramatically, if not cured. I know nothing about these things and thought I'd ask some of you scientist types before blowing any money on a cure-all. My ND does claim to be somewhat of an expert in this stuff... What do ya think? Tori
Guest guest
Hi Jody, I agree, but thought I'd share & see what ya'll thought about it. From the way the ND described it, it's basically just an air purifier. Seems harmless enough, but if I'm gonna waste any money, I'd rather it be on cute things for the nursery ;-) See ya, Tori In a message dated 11/25/2002 12:21:49 PM Pacific Standard Time, luckystrike928@... writes: > Hi Tori, > > I think if I were you, and just finding out I was pregnant, I would not be > willing to go in for some other kin d of treatment until after the baby is > born, maybe after weaning the baby if you plan to breast feed. > > You have so many things going on right now, the pregnancy, trying to get > euthyroid that I wouldn't take any chances of dealing with more for the > time being. As much as I hate dusting, I might pay handsomely for a device that could concentrate all the household dust onto the bedside table for quick disposal. Guest guest
Hey Tori, I'm with Simon on this one. I have a HEPA which does essentially the same thing, coats everything around it with dust! Its rather like putting out Japanese beetle traps. They tend to attract all the neighbor's beetles! Sad as it is a good vacuuming does more than the filters. Laurel Re: Negative Ion Generators >
