Anyone else read " Elliot and the Big Wave " ? My DS just loved it. What about the " Ebb and Flo " books by the same author as the " Daisy " books We get 18 books every 3 weeks from 2 different libraries, which reminds me I must go today! Guest guest
The best library book we've had recently was " The Gruffalo " . We all enjoyed it and I never got fed up of reading it - even doing silly voices for each of the animals. Guest guest
We've just got Cockatoos by Quentin Blake out - I thought counting books had to be tedious.... I'm off to Waterstone's on Sunday to buy this one!! But I *always* refuse to read the TV spinoff books (except the Maisy lift-the-flap books which are actually quite funny!) Guest guest
<> We have this one to (and before anyone asks YES the girls have a private library lol - both dh and I are mad about books so the girls get loads) But I don't like it much and neither does Phoebe (Eloisa being to young really) we have read it once or twice but Phoebe is really not interested last time I attempted I got told NO MUMMY and got handed you can swim Jim instead (that is another fun book btw ;o) ) Lonnie Phoebe & Eloisa's mama & expecting a Christmas delivery... My therapist told me the way to achieve true inner peace is to finish what you start. So far today, I have finished 2 bags of chips and a Chocolate cake. I feel better already. Guest guest
Snap - we love it too. The first time it took me until 3 to work out that the birds were hiding, then we went back to check out 1 and 2. Now we know and DS loves it. Another good one that we all really like and don't tire of (MIL bought from her hols) is " The Little Beaver and the Echo " . Guest guest
I have just discovered that one of our favourite books, which we thought was out of print, isn't. It has just been brought out in paperback with a slightly different title. (Annoying as we'd've got it for DHs niece's birthday had we known) It's Toad (formerly The Tale of a Monstrous Toad) by Ruth Brown -- jennifer@...
