I'm assuming your tea has caffeine, so this might have to do with your liver phase 1, because caffeine is what is used in the Great Smokies (now Genova) Liver Detox Profile to test this. So things to slow down phase one, like grapefruit juice and niacinamide, as mentioned below, might help. I'm not sure about the supplements in particular, but there may be something similar happening with them. If you have fast phase one and slow phase 2, then these things get bottle-necked there and cause symptoms. And here is a link with more info about liver phases. See the bottom of p 49. I think an emphasis on liver support supplements, and a liver friendly diet, might help. Things like B vitamins, lecithin or acetylcholine, essential fats, grapefruit juice or niacinamide, milk thistle, taurine, only as tolerated.
