Guest guest
You could try Dr. Doug Cook in Wisconsin. He's the most rabid anti-metal dentist I know. He counsels against metal watchbands, metal glasses frames - if he can't do a non-metal crown, then I can't imagine who would. Dean OT--Looking for a great holistic dentist Hi friends, I have had my amalgams out, and now wish to remove a metal bridge (probably made of nickel) in my mouth, which is on the upper right (teeth 3,4, and 5). I have consulted with several holistic dentists in my area of Miami, Florida, and they all say the best they can offer me is a GOLD with porcelain bridge as a replacement. They say the gold is needed because an only porcelain or only composite bridge will not hold in that particular spot. They seem to think it needs some metal to hold it. They think gold is okay, but I would really prefer NO metal. I think there must be some dentist out there who could offer me a completely non-metal alternative. I would be willing to travel out of state to get this done. If anyone has a holistic dentist they think is really fantastic who might be able to do a bridge with absolutely no metal, please let me know. Thanks very much,

Guest guest
I have a great Huggins dentist..she's in PA. You could email her for information about a metal free bridge..or some alternative. Guest guest
Hi, Yes, I have checked the IAOMT and called all the holistic dentists in my area. Even among those, none has a non-metal option for a bridge in the particular place where I need the replacement. Could you email me your Pennsylvania dentist and I will give her a call and see if you has an option for me. Guest guest
Thanks Dean, I will call Dr. Cook tomorrow and see what he can offer. What I need is a bridge, not a crown, but like you said if he's the non-metal guru, hopefully he can offer something. If anyone else has any other dentist recommendations, please let me know as well, so I can compare prices and locations. Thanks, > > You could try Dr. Doug Cook in Wisconsin. Guest guest
Hi , I am a dental hygienist and work for an amazing dentist. We do a restoration in our office called a cerec. I will talk with Dr. DeForno tomorrow about doing a bridge with cerec in that area. Cerec is ceramic. You could even type in Thorndale Dental and Dr. DeForno and find our website. He is located in PA. Sara > Hi, Yes, I have checked the IAOMT and called all the holistic > dentists in my area. Guest guest
Dean, where in Wisconsin is Dr. Cook? I live in northern Minnesota and have already done my dental revision, but my dentist is older and could be retiring, and in case other people ask me, I'd like to know where he is. Otherwise, the next closest ones to me are in the Twin Cities area. Thanks, Jackie In frequent-dose-chelation Dean wrote: You could try Dr. Doug Cook in Wisconsin.
