Pam, Jody--update on lab results & PTU reduction

yesterday,

Sorry I didn't get a chance to email you the values & ranges from my

lab results last night and then I was so busy all day I didn't get a

chance to log in to send this until now.

My lab results from 10/11/02 (the first day I went to the dr.) were:

F T4 3.79 ng/mL range: 0.75-2.00

TSH <.03 UIU/ml range: .47-6.90

F T3 was not tested.

lab results from 10/24/02:

TSI 20 range: neg. <10, borderline 10-15, positive >15

they also did the WBC and liver panel that day. I haven't included

those values.

Started taking PTU on 10/24.

lab results from 11/7/02:

F T4 1.94 ng/mL range: 0.75-2.00

F T3 4.4 (I don't have the range for this value yet, but I don't have

previous labs to compare it to either. I'll be receiving an actual

copy of the lab results in a few days.)

Yesterday I did the 100/50/100 schedule for the PTU. So far today

I've taken 100/50...will take next dose in about 1 1/2 hours. I'm

thinking I will try the 50 tonight though and see how it goes. I've

been so cold lately that maybe I am starting to go a little hypO.
